Accessing Siri

I have a 2016 Maxima (so no Carplay) and was wondering if there is at least a way to access Siri using the controls on the steering wheel and the built-in mic and speakers. On my Honda, you can do so by holding down the talk button on the steering wheel.

Why not just say "hey Siri!"? I do and have her play my music through BT or do anything else hands free.

Thanks and that is a good idea. The only thing is I have a 6 which only allows Hey Siri if iPhone is connected to power. I suppose that is the only solution until I upgrade my iPhone.
