I found this article and began to wonder about this... are any gen8 owners routinely using 87 octane rather than 93?

My take. This car is not cheap at it is with base starting around $33k. If you cant afford or want to be a cheapskate not using the recommended gas for best performance. You bought the wrong car and should have bought something else that does not suggest the use of premium fuel. I will NEVER EVER put in regular gas and just use premium. Shell V-Power only to be exact. Just my preference.

Thanks but, my original post was just asking for some feedback from owners using 87 octane inspired by reading that article.
