Brembo pads/rotors

Hi all. So I recently went ahead and replaced my front pads/rotors with Brembo's. According to Brembo none fit, but these fit like a glove. Just hoping to help anyone else that needs it. Also, I ordered it on Amazon but 2-3 months later Amazon cancelled my rotor order because they couldn't fulfill it. Autozone was up next and did delay the shipping a couple days but otherwise it went smoothly with them.

Brembo front pads-Part Number: P56062N
Brembo front rotors- Part Number: 25844

Wow. Could you keep us in the loop about the performance as well as the wear factor? I always felt to Max brakes (Not breaks) needed just a little more grab.

Will do! So far they're great. Literally the smoothest brakes I've ever had, and I've owned a ton of cars and was a mechanic on high end cars.

How have the Brembo rotors and pads held up? and did you do the rear? I need to do my brakes in the next few weeks and am looking for options as far as rotors go.

They're holding up great. I do have very minor brake squeal on on rotor but it's only at very light braking and it's super short. I would highly recommend switching to them along with the Brembo pads.

I would like to replace these, Did you do the rears as well?

Do you happen to have the part numbers for the rear Rotor and Pads?

Noticed your car desciption and a 160 MPH top speed. How did you coax that out of the current Gen Maxima? See why you might need the Brembos now.

Sorry, no. I didn't need rears and didn't spend time looking for those part numbers. I do recall it would have taken even more work to figure out then the fronts though.

That's actually funny. I posted that a LONG time ago but it used to show what car I was talking about. I have a MR2 Turbo that those stats applied to when I'd gotten rid of my last Maxima. The new one is a 2016 that's stock except for the tint and front pads/rotors. Definitely cannot do 160+ in this car.

Thank you for getting back to me. I think I will be passing on these. I will probably just be getting all 4 from autozone or somewhere and use what is meant for the car and call it a day.

If I decide to keep the car after a lease then I will worry about better brakes.

I've been researching the Brembo parts catalog for matching rear rotors and pads. I might have a match, but will need to await confirmation from my mechanic--who will be changing the oil in my '16 SR this week (as well as checking the brakes).

From my research, the rear rotors/pad of the 2015 Infiniti Q40 may be the cross-reference equivalent. When I check applicable vehicle(s), it lists a bunch of Nissan/Infinit models, so I know there is a match for the 8th gen Maxima.

As for brake systems on the 8th gen, I assume they are all the same across all trim levels? (S, SV, SL, SR, Platinum). Can anyone confirm?
