Which is why I said what the Maxima should have been. At least the AWD & no CVT. Not really that far apart, the 3.5L V6 isn't much different (same 0-60 basically). To me it feels and drives like a Maxima but without the unexplained clunks & pops in the trunk my 17 had every day of it's life that Nissan wouldn't even try fixing. As far as the 52K (I paid more but not much), you think a Platinum is worth $45K+? Most of my dissatisfaction with Nissan is their lack of concern with their failing quality. Since my 03, each car in succession was a bit worse than the previous car. By the time I got the 17 and put 2 years of miles on it, I was totally convinced that Nissan was a company on the way out. Sad, I really liked for them to win.

Yeah, I'm done, I'm on the Lexus train now, GS 350 F Sport. The car the Maxima should have been. The 03 was the best made/best running (last of the Japan Maximas). The 17 by far is the worst of the bunch, pure garbage.
lol you're comparing a RWD/AWD mid $50k luxury sport sedan from Lexus to a FWD mid $30k family hauler from the company that makes the Versa.

Like obviously the Lexus is gonna be better in most metrics.

1 - wasted a good 10 mins reading the non sense in the thread that i'll never get back.
2 - i think we have exhausted the "research" here and we have reached a consensus.
3 - @inquisitive - i think you got your answers from the members, take it or not.
4 - no bans will be handed out given that infractions were made on both sides....the alternative is i can ban everyone that broke the rules...but i think everyone knows who they are.
5 - if there's harassment through PMs then it will be insta permaban. so let's cut that out and act like real adults...ok?
thanks!
