Installing wideband on an Auto...

Who has done this? Where did you run the wires? Im told on manuals there is a rubber boot you can move and run wires through there. But I dont see anything like that on my auto. Any other holes in this area I don't know of?

Where are you putting the WB? There's a grommet for the rear O2 sensor you could use if you're putting the WB in a test pipe...

The rubber boot you're talking about on a manual is probably the one around the shifter.

Yeah, Jime just told me he also used the rear o2 hole. I have the stock cat right now so I can't use it there. I was planning to add an o2 bung after the flex. I hope the wires will reach.

I ran it through the firewall near the glove compart area, it runs through and down into the car and sits behind the ECU area. Auto or 5spd... regardless. There is a cutout already and it slips right through after you work through the insulation material. You'll have to take the glove box out to take a look (although i'm not sure how long your wideband wire is or what type you have)

The o2 bung I have is welded into the y-pipe at the 2 o'clock position

Sweet I will check that out too. I need to remove my glove box anyways so I can clean the Fan Blower.

Let me clarify:

The opening is near the right side (fender side), behind the glove box compartment. My wb02 unit is installed behind the ECU area. I think you can see it from the engine bay... i'll try to take a picture if I can find it after work.

I replaced my stock O2 located after the cat & the wires ran up underneath the drivers seat floorboard thru a rubber gromet.
