That's what I was thinking. That sensor on the front of the cam is also referred to as a cam position sensor or as I said "cps."

its a pity you have a 99 ECU from what I've read they're the hardest to work with, can you downgrade to a 95 or something seeing as your having to splice the 99 into the RB anyway

I'm hopeful that if your working on the gauge cluster... you've got the engine to startup now ?

we have to leave it running for 15 mins then it will go normal but also it has to be tuned I MESSED UP THE HOW I POSTED THE CLIPS

glad its running. It does sound like shiiit.. More so like it has a bad vaccum leak. if it hasn't been tuned then maybe some tuning will help it to sound better.

Congrats, this really is awesome.An RB26 in a Maxima, craziness.
Glad you got it running, however with this being such a unique project you really should have cleaned the motor and engine bay up really well and painted the motor before putting it in since you know many are going to be asking you to pop the hood onc your able to drive it places.

ok so here is another bump in the road, I've been trying to find information on concerning if the R33 has a MAP sensor to detect boost. So far we know it has two MAF sensor but is that all it needs. Anyone ????

I may be wrong but im 99% sure there is no MAP sensor...just the MAF(s)

Whats the problem???
