VIS makes a hood...
Let me know when you get rear suspension pics mounted on the car(rear trailing arm, suspension, rear axle)
Some of your pics are very up close and I cannot tell what they are. But either way continue the good work!

I will never drive that car on linden blvd cause if you know it the roads are bad
interesting... i was wondering if you had any more pics of the floorboard area where you made room for the transmission, as well as pics of the engine's position relative to the strut towers, as far as weight distribution is concerned. i'll be interested to see your front//rear weight balance when you're done. hopefully you can get it pretty close to 50/50. are you leaving the front wheels in their original position, and leaving the wheelbase the same as it was in the FWD configuration? or had you considered trying to move the front wheels up some to help your weight balance?

well the front wheel is staying the same and for the cut in the floor board i think i have some pics but they are a bit dark i will find them and post them as far as weight distribution its a bit off towards the front but not that much 53/47 but should balance out when the project is done
here is pics of the part that had to be cut for the tranny to fit and some of the mounts and supportshttp://i664.photobucket.com/albums/v...7091435-00.jpg

1. I don't know what I'm looking at exactly.
2. It's blurry as all hell.
Clear pics would be great. If it's in brooklyn, PM me and I can stop by and check it out, or help out.
the othere is of the support for the motor the orange metal are the mounts and the cross bar is the support

Found no videos.
There isnt one available for the 4th gen, at least not in CF .
Really? Post up more info on the one you know of.
Ive never seen or heard of anyone actually following through with this. MANY have claimed to either want do it or that they were going to with no results.

yeah thats what I thought at first too but then you can see them (rear wheels) kick up a bunch of snow.
found this is my search too which I am also sceptical of but not sure how else you would make the car spin like this on dry pavement at such low speeds.

Makes sense.. never heard of anyone doing that, probably because we have snow for half of the year anyways and the fwd guys get their fill then.
To the OP, you may find some of these pics usefull.. It's an altima with a RWD conversion seems like they used the whole front subfram and grafted in the rear strut towers.. worth a look. Too bad there are no finished product pictures/vids..
