holy fawk i dont know how i missed this thread but thats sick, RB26DETT is one of the things i would put in my 3rd gen if i won the lottery or something but thats sick. RB26 are one of my favorite motors, a guy i know with a R32 GTR blew his doing burnouts w/the AWD fuse disconnected but that RB26DETT took alot. as far as i know hes rebuilding it to get it going before more snow hits

 

ok little update of stuff i picked up today fuel line connectors and 2 earl's oil coolers all parts are earl's

My brothers workshop did a full house SR20 swap into a 4 door one recently and it only took 3 days.

Yea its alot easier when you dont have so many wires to integrate with the car...Its all very basic...Ive been so busy with school i havent had the oportunity to get the motor in the car yet. But once its in i have everything...just need to measure the Drive shaft so i can shorten it and rebalance...

yeah im definitely giving you a lot of props for this project. hope all turns out good

 

im not trying to be mean or hate, just honest. but that swap in the dime is messy as hell please dont let yours end up like that. the sr20 harness is very simple and very easy to clean up and tuck nicely. Id hate for all that work and money go into your swap and it to look like that one.

 

the project is not fail I have to get my regular running right If you guysd fail i don't thah word does not in my book. and I work on my time not yours MR NEVERMORE and as your name say post here NEVER MORE

 

take him to the track and settle this when you get the RB26 finished

Even if the RB26 doesn't work out you have to give him credit for trying and its obvious from the pics he's given that its a real project and not a mythical ECU project doing the rounds
