Need an answer by the morning!
My friend has 2 10" subs in a box...he has a 2 channel amp...the subs are rated at 4 ohms...200watts...and 4 ohms this amp gives 200watts rms...how do i wire the subs into the amp...and how do i wire the subs in the box...cause they arnt in the box yet...the box has the black and red terminal for the speaker wire to go from the box to the amp...now i need to know how to wire the subs AND how to wire the subs from the amp...the amp has a L+ L- R+ R-...plz help me...i need both subs at 4 ohms..!!!!

just tell me what i gotta do to get 4 ohms on both subs...the subs are 2 10 " xtant z series...200watts rms each

hmm....in that case..to get the most performance IF each subwoofer is a 4ohm sub. On the box RED=Positive Black=negative. simple enough just wire them into the box..on the terminals outside...what you wanna do...since you now have 4 spots for speaker wire they'll look like this
+ - + -
connect ONE postive terminal into the NEGATIVE terminal on the other speaker. You will have two open terminals left a POSTIVE terminal on one speaker..a NEGATIVE on the other speaker. You have now created an 8 OHM Load. Now Take the remaining speaker terminals..use them as your POSITIVE (+) and your NEGATIVE (-) to the amplifier. On the amp you also have 4 terminals Refer to your manual on how to install 1 speaker onto your 2 channel amp. You will only use 2 terminals on your amplfier. You will use One positive .... and One negative. (one terminal on channel 1 and the other terminal on channel 2). That will create more than enough power since your amp is bridged.

ok I think I understand...so INSIDE the box...when wiring the subs, i take a positive from one sub, go to the negative on the other...then I use the other negative and positive for the black and red terminal on the box...now on the amp...I am still a little confused on how to wire this...if its bridged i just wire it into the bridged screws...because there are 2 holes which connect with a line and say 'bridged' i wish i could take pictures :-P
