Scv

i heard the scv is something like speed-sensitive volume or something. what is it exactly and how does it work?? (i don't think it ever affected anything in my stereo..) my audio's factory one (not the bose one)

SCV stands for Speed Controlled Volume. I am not exactly sure how it works, but I assume: as you increase speed, your engine noise and the road noise go up. To compensate, your volume also goes up so that the sounds you want to hear are not drowned out.
