Well, this is not in my trunk but it's what's going in my trunk. Volume is 2.2, vented box for a 12. It's not complete yet, the top is not glued and theres more painting to be done. I was pleased since it's my first time building one.

This is with only a light coat of paint, iam going to paint over this with some undercoating paint, similar to the look of sprayed bedliners. My bro. painted one with it and it turned out great!

2 12" Memphis subs in a ported box with a 1200 watt Phoenix Gold amp. I love this setup it never gets hot, no problems, and its louder than anyone would expect.

I was wondering before I start on mine, do you think it sounds better with the subs facing front or back?

I have my subs pointing in towards the cabin and I like that layout more than pointed towards the rear bumper. The main reason I like it is because when I throw stuff in the trunk, I dont have to worry about tearing or ripping my subs... And the fact that the audio shop I went to was able to push my 2 12s up into the hole so I gained as much trunk space as possible.

Im in the process of turning my spare tire compartment into a spot for my amp. Ill post some pics when its done.

Anyone have an idea why my amp and subs work while playing the radio, but the amp powers off when I play a CD??

Here's a few shots of my trunk.

I'm not quite done yet (missing my HD750/1) but here's where I'm heading. The sub box has a single 2001 Kicker Solo-Baric L7 12" in it.

Full spare tire access too...

Question for ekrunch. Whats up with having 2(3) amps? do you plan on powering the interior speakers with 2 amps? Just wondering

Also any pics of the sub
