Adding an amp to my system, need help...

So my system right now consists of an old school Pioneer DEH-P2000 head unit and 4 Pioneer TSA-1795 speakers. The speakers are 60 watts RMS and 200 watts max ( here's a link describing the speakers: http://www.ultimate-sounds.com/pioneer/tsa1795.htm )

My only complaint with this setup is that at the loudest volume I listen to, there is distortion and the sound just gets sloppy. The headunit just can't keep up and it's pretty apparent that I need an amp.

I'm looking for a 4 channel amp around $100-$200 that will rid me of the distortion and provide a clearer sound. I don't know how much power I need though and I don't want to buy more power than needed. I'm looking at a few Pioneer amps rated at 35x4 RMS and 50x4 and a few US Acoustics amps rated at 65x4 and 85x4. The US Acoustics amps are rated at 12.9 volts instead of 14.4 volts making them more powerful than stated. Other considerations have been Alpine, Kenwood, and Rockford Fosgate. My headunit puts out 22x4 RMS and 45x4 peak, so I need more than that, but I don't know how much more. I can't seem to make a decision because I can't figure out how much power I need for a little bit more volume and some more clarity. Can anyone make a suggestion for the power level I need and a decent amp to fit my needs?

You could probably look around for a better quality one new or used from someone in the forums.

I am a big fan of Phoenix Gold and that Octane 4 channel ($180) will probably never even get warm pushing your speakers.

The power level isn't as important as the clarity in the amp. You can always turn the gains down on the amp. Just buy the best quality you can afford and try to keep in mind that you might want to upgrade other stuff (HU, speakers) later on.

I have bought stuff from Mike before and he is really honest and on top of things.
