since I only have front stage components and no subs, all I'd really need to deaden is the front doors right?

oh ok, so what is there else to deaden--the rear doors and the trunk?

deadening the roof is fun when you live in a rainy climate...no rain noise ftw.

but how do you deaden that and the trunk with the fabric/carpet? Do you have the rip them out? I dont' see how that's possible--it's not like taking off a door panel

Yes you remove everything and yes it is quite possible.

I do remember going a bit in depth regarding this before and during your install, apparently a change of heart now? Certainly woulda been easier then.

Deadening is labor intensive, they will do it, but it will cost you.

man that's stupid. You figure it would need it most on the door panels, cause that's the closest metal to the speakers. Unbelievable

No not really, it would make little to no sense for them to put it all over the doors etc. The majority of owners don't need nor want it.

Don, that is a weird looking speaker...it looks more like a strut tower! I'm confused as to how sound comes out of that...but I'm sure it sounds better than anything that will ever be in my car.

Are you serious? I don't know what a neo driver is. Is that what the non-Bose stock speakers look like or are you pulling my leg? I'll admit to being a n00b lamer.

I see. The 4th gen Bose speakers are just regular paper cone speakers but I guess they changed that in the 5th gens.

if I were to deaden my front doors, would there be a "night and day" difference in performance from my midbasses?
