Omnifi Mp3 player INSTALL
I have a 2002 maxima w/ bose and navi. I just got an omnifi mp3 player and tryin to install it. I already got an fm modulator working perfect with my ipod but now i am tryin to do use this omnfi player.
It needs two power sources: 1. a source of switched 12 V ( only when the ignition key is in accessory or run psotion.
2. source of constant 12V, it should be on even when the igntion is off and the car is not running. the current comsuption through this wire is negligible.
I hooked up power source 1 to the cig lighter wire but do not know where to get the constant 12V. Can anyone tell me alternate places to find power for my omnifi device
any ideas i need help please.

hey I hope it isn't too late!
I've got an omnifi in my 96. I love it! Take the power from your radio HU power. I found a wiring guide online...

there's gotta be something similar for your car out there
also I found out after I installed this on my rear speaker deck (see pics) that it is very sensitive to vibrations. With the speakers being so close to it, it skipped a ton at high volumes. I moved it into the trunk and now it is much, much better.
pics of course:
