Peel n' seal sound insulation

I was looking for some of this "generic dynomat" at the local Lowe's the other day, but couldn't seem to find it. What is the brand name of it and what does the package look like?

Save your money and buy an actual product...SecondSkin,Cascade,etc..

Leave the roofing materials to the roofers.

You don't want to get that stuff. When it gets hot again your car will stink like asphalt.

Listen to these guys, i spent an entire day "pealing n sealing" my car when i first got my maxima and it was comipletely NOT worth it. it made a VERY SMALL difference, seriously it is not worth it. i wish i could remove this crap and get the real deal... especially since there are more reputable brands than just dynamat now adays.

good luck.

Here in Houston, Peel and Seal is like 50/50. Some people swear by it, and some people get the results you see below. That stuff down there is actually labeled Elemental Designs Edead V1, but its just rebadged Peel and Seal. I was amazed how bad the stuff was when I took the pics.

The owner of the corolla used the eD liquid deadener with some pretty nice results. I'm thinking about trying it sometime.

Only use it in small doses and in a pinch. Otherwise, actual deadener, specifically second skin or raamat, is great product for the price.
