Glad all this got straightened out...CCx as all have said, don't ditch the whole system, just get a new remote, in fact get two a spare is always nice...in fact I need to get one...Don how much for a regular non-lcd remote for the 791x?

For some reason it seems that these alarms are notorious for doing this. I am going on my 3rd remote from Don. It would be nice if DEI had a permanent fix for it.
