need help with ECLIPSE AVN 2454!!!!!!!!!!!

need help with ECLIPSE AVN 2454!!!!!!!!!!!

Hello guys I need help getting my back up camera 2 work! The unit has video out and I plugged my camera in and wired the power cable to the battery! And for some reason it doest work. And I’m also trying 2 wire my steering wheel buttons with SWI-ECL module but I can’t get buttons to work, Can some one please help me out???????

Also I was told if you have wireless remote you can program it through remote, how can that be done???????? Please post some info

The intructions are in the PAC for how to get the steering wheel functions to work. It's not hard at all. I just did mine on the pioneer last night, too easy.

No idea about the vid inputs, you might have to go into the functions of the HU and switch on/over to the other input?

Did you say that you're using the video OUT on the AVN for your camera INPUT?

You may want to reverse that, champ, use the output from your camera to go to the INPUT of the AVN.

Also...no a remote is not used to program the unit. The SWI-ECL is intended to be hardiwred, thus not needing a remote.

...and did you connect the reverse wire?

thats correct, but if its not used either via switch or reverse, then the camera view will not turn on.

It's a signal wire, not sure if it's + or -

still no image, black screen and wite lines go across any ideas?

o no its ebay one it has one cable for power source and other is video male thats it.

Well then the reverse feature from the AVN really wouldn't work in your situation.
Hook the camera up to the AUXILIARY IN of the HU and switch to VTR in your menu to make it work. You will also need to power the camera via a switch, you can rig that up however you want.
