RF Power HX2 12" Might try out some washers but it would look weird with these specific grills, I think......

i had mine faced towards the latch then one day decided to test it out and played da blow by lil jon on it facing fowards (away from latch) and backwards (towards latch) and by far facing the subs towards the latch is much much better its cleaner sounding bass and much more vibration just my .02

My sub box only fits forward/backward so I have then facing backwards. A buddy of mine had a vented box with two JL's pointed backwards. One day he turned them facing up and we both felt it was a vast improvement in sound.

I will be getting a new box soon and plan on facing them up.

SO, your trunk is not 10ft from you, so you bounce it off the trunk lid and back, thats about 10ft
sigh....

Just get a lil tow-behind trailer and hitch. Install your subs in that.

I bet that would be about 10 ft.

Pfftt!

ive always felt that they sound the best when pointed toward the back of the car. Tho in my 94 eclipse they were pointed back and up, because of the angle in the box, and the height of the box

isnt there actually something on the org about facing it toward the trunk at about 3ft from the lid? Someone did like a resonance chart thing to see if the waves would be perfectly in alignment when reflecting back toward the driver?

functionality wise, nothing is wrong with it. but eh, at least make it look more presentable.

plus you're hurting output with the subs aimed up.

for one it is a stripped trunk for racing and i try to make it so i can take it all out with ease. it sounds damn good the way it is. and believ me the rest of the car looks nothing like that . I just did it to shave as much wieght as i could and still am saving weight.
