this is pissin me off

alright so when i got my max the radio didnt work. swapped it out wit an alpine n wired the bose wires to it. everything works right. hooked up my amp and for some reason wont work. rca's goin to the H/U , power is right, grounded right, everything is right. but nothin wud come out of my subs. my friend hooked my subs up to his amp and they worked. he thought my amp was blown. so he gave me another one and i can see power is gettin to it but its not turnin on. **** is pissin me off. i need some help wit this one.!!

If everything is right, maybe there's some installer error. You can also turn the sub on on the HU as mentioned, if it's not. Also you may have the amp hooked up to incorrect outputs of the HU, lastly, if you can't figure it out perhaps take it to a pro?

IDK if this helps but did you leave the stock bose amps in place? Did you bypass bose or leave it place?

on ur head unit you probably have a sub on and off setting.. if that helps.. i had a similair issue.. and i have a alpine head unit

i went through the headunit and turned on the sub from there. only thing im thinkin is the remote wire. becuz the amps not turning on. but the light to say its protected is on. i really dont wanta take the headunit out again **** is annoyin as hell.

Protection light = amp is bad or fuse is blown.

ya my boy was sayin the amp cud be blown. but ik the subs work we hooked it up to his amp and that **** bumped. i think ima jus have to bring it to a shop.
