How to handle the dealer??

Weird question but what's the best way to threaten your dealer? I tried raising my voice or making comments on the ****ty job they do but that does not seem to work. Should I go ahead and threaten them with writing letters to managers or even placing ads in the local newspaper? Is that gonna help? I'd really like to stay with this dealer because their prices are 25-50% lower than other dealers in the area and they usually find the right problem. The only thing is that I always have to come back to correct something and the guy starts off by telling me it's not their fault. Any suggestions?

First this is in the wrong section. Second, go to the manager. Third, go to another shop or do your repairs yourself. Very simple.

I find that yelling and throwing things gets the dealer to do whatever I want.

Give it a try and report back

First, what is the right section? Second, ok but what if the manager tells you the same thing? Third, read my post again, nice and slow so you understand my point, that a girl! You have to understand some people don't like to or have no way to do the repairs themselves (have a girlfriend, go to college, work part time, or simply don't have time). Or maybe they don't trust the mechanics who do not have the right tools or knowledge to fix your car (by tools I mean the ECU updates etc). Perhaps I should make myself more clear by saying that my car is a 2000 Maxima. Now answer my question if you want. Thanx

Honestly, You get what you pay for. I would advise you to pay more and get the job done right then saving vs going back and back and dealing with the constant hassle. as far as making some kind of threats, threaten them with BBB / Attorney General.

dude i was a salesman for a while and know a lot about how dealers work...listen good my freind...

if you want to get anything done never get nasty with people (u catch more bees with honey). remember NEVER belive the dealer they almost always lie. if you want to get something accomplished tell them you will call one of those TV investigation teams!!! trust me that is the last thing the dealer ever wants, not nissan, not bbb, although those are good options they are so common that not often will the manager pay attention.

and no dealer has 25-50% cheaper prices, you are getting taken for a ride if you beleive that.
