Just use a heatgun/hairdryer and pull them off. You could probably even just park in the sun and do it.

If you can't get them off you can get this eraser wheel thing that goes in a drill. I don't know where you get them though. I don't like using it because it leaves a mess you have to clean up...sometimes it's the only way to go though. just be sure to keep moving...don't stay in one spot too long.

Regardless of the method you will have glue left behind. I like mothers prewax cleaner alright for this. It will require some elbow grease. You can also get this stuff called PB blaster decal and sticker remover. It will remove just about anything. You need to wash it off immediately though. One other note about the DSR...I don't like spraying it directly on the paint, I prefer to put it on whatever towel I'm using then on the residue (more precise...no overspray).

Yeah, I removed mine, I waited till it was about 80 degrees outside and then ripped out the ol hair dryer and extention cord and started goin away at it. It really wasn't that bad, most of it came off easy, I was able to do a 3/4 doors without the stripe breaking. Then I just took some Meguiar's Scrath-X and buffed the residue away, then I used a little Tech wax and got rid of nething else. You'll notice that there will be like lines etched in the paint from the stripes, they go away so don't panic, they go away within a couple weeks and a few washes. My friend had a 2000 Maxima, and we did his stripes and those were a ***** mainly because they were worn a lot more than mine were and it wasn't hot out, so the sun and heat defenitally helps! Good luck, take some pictures I have some pics on my site if you wanna check them out.

My car had some raggedy stripes on it man...but this older guy told to use hot water to get them off. The stripes came right off. I had to pick the end a bit to get it started, but after that it was nohing.

I think they look disgusting. I've never seen pinstripes I liked...especially on a max.

To each his own I guess.
