DRF == Dyno Run File.

I thought you said it was running rich? 14.5-15 at WOT is extremely lean.

DRF = Dyno Run File, since it's obvious it's a DJ.

I doubt your true AFR was that lean. Grab some OBDII software and log your stock WB's, or, the next time you dyno, get an upstream WB put in and be able to definitively say what the AFR is/was.

CAt convertors affect the AFR curve (lean)

oh sorry i meant its running very lean. not rich. Yeah Im running no cats right now. maybe thats why??? I dont know but theres really nothing I can do right now. I just have to wait fora piggyback or standalone to fix that. Tried a safc but ecu juist resets on its own.

Did you intercept both MAF signals when you installed it?

And if so, did you use the correct split signal setting?

Sounds like they could have done it better.

SAFCII has the ability to split the MAF signal for 2 MAF's in for scenarios, (a la R34/Z32TT).

the safc does not work for the 350z. Nor do those other air fuel gadjets. The only piggyback system out that works for the Z is a utec, osiris, andi believe accessport

I read that it even overrides the UTEC after a while, noticed on 03-06 Z33's. With that said, the tuning market for the HR is very limited at the moment.

I still haven't seen definitive proof that the SAFC or any other AFC doesn't work, i.e. WOT AFR logs comparing the same corr% performed on different dates to see if there is a change back to 'stock'.

Your posts are a little vague, got any detailed technical information relative to the subject?

If so, PM me, since I don't want to clutter this thread more than it already is.

was this in a I35 or some other vq35 car?

if so then i'm shocked. i could see 301 chp but 301whp is a serious car that must have gone unnoticed

98maxedout..shutup... you know nothing about "sick" setups with your stock 3.0 with a intake and junk yard exhaust.

You do realize that 98maxedout is 3.5 swapped, right?

So either NiSmOVQ35 is joking around, or he is an idiot.

I'm assuming the block was sleeved? If not, that engine was on borrowed time. It just seems strange that someone would spend money on overbore pistons and rock JWT cams.

Are details too much to ask for? It's like pulling teeth for some of you guys.

Well having a 3.5 swap means your handy and you know what you're doing with the Maximas, lol. Doesnt NECESSARILY mean you know how to take a motor (be it a VQ, a BMW M52, or a 350 small block) apart and building it back up from scratch- I say that since most people just drop the motor in and hope everything runs how it should, lol. Not to put down the swappers (myself included), but really once you look back, the swap is pretty easy if you do the prep work and know how to follow instructions, lol (at least this is my opinion).

Yea I hope its an inside joke of sorts . Because mods on your car=knowledge of your car just doesnt quite compute.... "Error 404"

nyc guys are fond of the whole hush hush manner of outting together cars and bragging about it but not how or what they did to get there.

the weekend battle forum is full of it

Far from the truth. Some people live in areas where stolen cars are rampant...I myself have gotten things stolen immediately after posting them on the forums. So it's more of a preventive measure. By all means feel free to do it through PM's. I have gotten a ton of knowledge on my build through pms, for fear that people will come looking if I reveal the details of my setup.

So just because we don't make a thread with pictures detailing everything we have...doesn't mean we don't have it. I have offered a ****load of information in the other threads, some things that people have never done.

Yes NismoVQ35 is jokin....he's my boy.

Nismology...I would love to give you some more details, I'd have to ask the owner, as I don't know exacts...if your interested shoot me a pm and I'll see if I can call him.
