No but I started using Mobile one Extended Performance this year. Still doing 5k changes and oil not not as black or sludge looking on drain. In for comments on RP.

I've heard good stuff about it but never used it myself, I use Castrol Edge full synthetic and it serves well imo.

All these oils from Pennzoil, Castrol, Valvoline, Mobil1, Amsoil, Shell Ruttella, etc... will serve fine as long as you change the oil in reasonable intervals along with the filter.

One thing I personally believe in, is not to exceed 5k OCI. For many reasons.

Whatttttttttt? An oil thread in a car forum?

Meaningless to even bring it up. Like A$$holes, everyone has an opinion, little facts, but a lot of emotion.

I change my oil every 3500 miles in all 5 of my cars. Always have, always will. Sure, BMW says to go 10K and in fact you can't even BRIBE their service centers to change more often than that. And a lot of people will say (and have said) that I'm wasting my money. But if nothing else I get plenty of used oil to kill the weeds in the fenceline around my properties. Only thing that works better is oil well brine.

Well, that kinda sucks. But like he said, royal purple isn’t bad,it’s just that ams is better. After this oil change using purple,I’m definitely gonna switch to ams.
