Almost Done....

well after all my research and tons of $$$, the project is going to be finished. my fully built motor - from VQ30DE to a VQ34DESCNOS. in other words, 3.4L stoker motor, 14 psi of SC boost - intercooled, and a 120 shot direct port nitrous injection. i should be able to get it back by christmas. i think i will like my christmas gift, do you? this summershould be fun. will be posting dyno numbers and track times for all those interested. the outside of the car will still remain stock but i may repaint it. sleeper all the way. later.

He said stroked, not bored.

BTW I've been in Ferhan's car and seen it run at the track, as have many other respected members of this board. It's fast as h3ll. With what he's doing now I can only imagine.

He said it was a "3.4 L stoker motor". I guess he meant stroker.

I assume he used the VQ30 block? I bet it cost A LOT of money.

Being that i'm obsessed with deep exhaust sounds and whatnot, please get a sound clip of your ride asap.

What crank did you use? The one out of a VQ35?

Just curious about which crank you used and how you're going to manage the new displacement. Are you going to run a stand-alone engine management system? Pics would be nice, but they're not going to show use the internals of the engine

Definately get that thing dynoed when you get a chance. I hope it all works out.

pics...

they wont show anything new. it was not the VQ35 crank. also it takes a lot of time to get a crank to work in that block. i am not going to tell you guys just yet. trust me, it is very hard to get a crank for a stroker motor for this engine. anyways, dynos will be first done infeb or march. i will post my reaction to the change before that. later.

cant say im too surprized about that, i didnt know it was stroked that much but I knew about the SC, the L10 trans, and the n2o.
btw what type of blower r u running? I didnt belive the v2 can put out 14psi or more it ur case, but with the n2o i say definetly 12's. maybe a bit faster?
