Henceforth, follow what I'm calling "The Nickelodeon Rule" when it comes to posting. If you couldn't get away with showing it or saying it on the Nickelodeon cable network, don't post it or say it here.
If you don't get Nickelodeon, it's basically a kids network. That should do nicely. Thank you, drive through.

Agreed.
Anything off color people want to post, use http://www.off-topic.net and paste a link to it from here. I wouldn't think anyone would have a problem with that....

f*** that.. just make me moderator of all the boards and I'll simply delete those ******** obscene posts..
oh wait.. I'm usually one that starts half of them. nevermind.
I know you REALLY don't want to do this one, but what about a Vote to Delete Button for the asinine posts? how about if a person gets xxx number deleted, they forum automatically bans them?
tt.net has a VTD option and it seems to work well for them.

Re: Welcome to the Internet Based Police State...
Yes, apparently we are. We've got people putting all kinds of crap in sigs that's not appropriate, flaming each other for no good reason, etc.
So, yeah, I suppose you do have to police based on this. Apparently people think you can say anything anywhere. It's a great rule to go by. It used to be "if you wouldn't say it to your mother...", but I'm sure there are many disrespecting people here who that wouldn't apply to.
I'm surprised you posted something like this Héctor.

Agree to a certain extend.
Because the vistors here are not at the Nickelodeon age, so why should we use Nickelodeon Rule? How about at least PG-13?
Btw, does Nickelodeon Rule apply on contents of post too? If any text material isn't good for a 8 years old, will it be deleted??

well at least this beats the 'lord of the the files' kinda order they have a clubsi... but i agree that rated g is pretty tame for almost any website not directed towards children...

but the point is:
are you suppose to surf a Maxima BBS at all in your working time???
i know some people are in IT field, they are online anyway doing work, some other people might hold a good position at work with their own offices and doors closed. then yeah they can do whatever.
but for others, i don't believe there is one company out there, that says:
workers can surf internet at work time, just not x-rated materials.
