which tint: 25% or 30%?

The legal tint in GA is 35% all around and that it too light for me. Im not sure whether to get 30% or 25%. I dont want it to be too dark that I can't see out my windows at night.

What would you guys reconmend? and if you have any pics that woud help a lot.

Thanks for checking out the thread,

Ben

If you want to keep from getting a ticket, I`d suggest going with the 30%. Most cops can`t tell the difference between 35% & 30%. Also, the VLT differance between 25% and 30% is gonna be so minimal that it will be hardly noticable to the eye. Make sure whichever film you choose to go with is a UV resistant film and has a scratch coat, you`ll be alot happier with it in the end. I have 30% on the front of my Ranger, and 20% on the back in this pic, just to give you an idea.

Just ask yourself how willing are you to risk getting a ticket for illegal tint. If it doesn't matter that much, get the tint you like the most. 35% works fine for people like me. Not too dark and not too light.

I have 35% on the front and 20% in back, I would go with 20% all the way around, the 35% is a bit too light.

15% or darker. i just got 15% last month and i already regret it. 10 or 5% is best. my 15% reduces 53% heat in summer and u still can see the interior from far away but not from up close.

and here is one thing for you to know bro, you know how tint shops say you cant see **** with dark tint? thats all BS LIES, if the damn bastard tint shop had told me the truth, i woulda gone with 5%. right now i have 15% and i see EVERYTHING at night, CLEARLY visible. specially cars. you can even see parked cars with their lights off in ur rear view mirror and they are about half a mile behind you. dont even worry about cars taht are following you or ahead if you. no problem AT ALL. however there is always gonna be a dark shade of tint infront of your eyes and thats gonna make everything you see darker, but you still see everything. in streets where there are no lights, pedestrains are hard to see, thats all. go with 15% or darker.

and i hate when tint shops bs u about how u aint gonna be able to see **** when u clearly see everything. makes me wanna go back and beat this **** outta tint shop for bsing and punish them by replacing it with 5% for FREE

Bitter???

Check out the thread in "Southeast" about the legal limit in GA. I'm getting 20% put on tomorrow with a lifetime warrenty. Before places would put the tint on but not offer a warrenty if it was illegal. But go with whatever you want, you are the one that has to drive it everyday.
