Emergency Help
I bought an accident car, so my left rear wheel is poking out, and my right rear wheel is poking in, but the car drives in excellent condition, the only problem is the rear wheels like i said, what can i do? somebody said something about putting it in a frame and putting back to specs.............anybody have information on this??? PLEASE I NEED THIS ASAP. From eye level it seems like the Left Rear quater Panel is different from the right rear quater panel, so the smaller one which is on the left make the tire/wheel poke out, while the bigger one the tire is kinda sucked in.........

The only time I've heard of cars being racked like you mention is when the car has an actual frame, not a unibody like the Maxima. The reason is the frame is actually what the car body rides on and is a seperate piece entirely from the fenders, quarters, etc. The Max, on the other hand, is a unibody car meaning the fenders, quarters, etc. ride on a "skin" of metal and not a frame. Basically, you can't strip it down to less than the inner fenders, the floorpan, and the like since there is no frame.
That's not to say that you can't put the car on a rack, it would just be a lot of work to get it to line back up properly and you would have to worry about a LOT more stuff warping due to the stress.
Given the value of the car (if its a 4th gen) and the cost of that repair, its really cost inhibitive to do that type of repair. It would be a lot of work and a lot of time involved.
You MAY be able to get a body man / mechanic to cut the rear suspension and reweld it back into place for a lot less. That's not to say the car will ever be right since its a) been wrecked and b) had the suspension modified severly.
I'm sure that someone will know something less drastic and that may help more but that would be about the only thing I would know that would work. Good luck!
