All depends on traction

if you can launch at 4k your there,,,, you might want to start at 2k and work your way up.

Yep, 3k with a tiny clutch slip and mild throttle manipulation worked great for me, 2.1 60's on street tires.

You guys do know he's auto right? Unless you have a high stall tq converter. For dragging, i usually launch anywhere from 1.7k - 2k rpms depending on traction.

Cheston with an Auto? I think not.

To get the best et, you must be coming off the line above 3500rpms which means you need to wind it up to 4K. Quickly slip the clutch and feed it gas slowly until you feel it hook up and then go WOT. What wheels you gonna run?

I'm excited that you're going to the track to test out the ECU. Is Nabil going? Even if your ets are a bit slow, the trap speed should be a very good indicator of potential et with a good 60'. Good luck.

I'd shift at these rpms as indicated by the tach:
1-2 6500
2-3 6200
3-4 6000

on wednesday, I was launching between 2000 and 2500 and poping the clutch, letting off the gas for just a moment to grab traction then flooring it. Tire pressure is critical to a good launch. I got a 2.191 on street tires doing this.
