could there be any weight differences between the two cars in question?? if power is comparable then perhaps there is a discrepancy in weight---that could explain why he is faster.

I have to believe it was a combination of something being wrong with Brians car and his floor mat being stuck under his pedal. I have a hard time believing there is a freak 4th gen out there putting out enough power to overcome the gearing advantage, quick shifting advantage, and power to the wheels advantage of a 5 speed. You guys need to race again ASAP so we can get this figured out!
