pinstriping and TUP

any advice on the best way to remove a pinstripe (adhesive type, not painted on)

also, anyplace other than the dealer to get toush up paint?

Verrrrry slowly....

Go get a hair dryer and heat up a section of about 6-10 inches. Peel that slowly away. When you get a body panel done, go back and heat up whatver glue is left and quickly scrub it with some Meguiar's Clear Coat scrub or Step 1 of their 3-step system.

Of course, you'll need to wax these areas after you do that. My stripes were on my Neptune Blue '97 and no ghosting or fading happened at all. It looks beautiful.

now.. i got a 96.. still has pin stripes...

my car spends a lot of time in the sun...

remove ? no ?

i am mored worried about looks.. i would rather have them on than remove them and have it look like they were there

i thought step 3 was wax??
