Seat Heater Bulb

I have a 98 I30t. The bulb for my seat warmer switch just stopped working.
How can I replace it?

Mine did too. Actually, mine has never worked since I got the car lol. I'm goin to put in a 3mm LED in each when I re-do my interior in White LED's.

No mine went out on the passenger side. My wife uses it more. It's just normal wear & tear.

When this first happened to me, I was freaking out because I thought the heated seat itself was broken and with NE winter, I would have been very upset. Luckily my **** is still warm, though :-D

Anyway, I'd be interested in seeing which bulb is necessary and how to go about replacing it as well, if anyone knows.

I thought the entire switch has to be replaced (~$40) if the bulb goes out?

Hey it started working again. I don't know how or why, but I'm not complaining.

The stealership will do anything which raises thier profits. I just hope they did not charge you for the exactly 2 minutes and 30 seconds of labor replacing that switch would have been

If the seat works, does it really matter if the light doesn't work?
Thats one of those things that I wouldn't bother with unless the car was brand-new

It matters b/c you may accidentally leave the heated seat on for a while by not seeing the light, which could ruin it
