Impossible Modifications....330hp LMAO!

Hey guys - I thought I will share a comment I received in my cardomain guestbook. This guy commented to me about the my SAFC II and does not have one hooked up to his car but yet, he has claimed to have a 330hp I35 (and says 330whp at that). I thought I would share his comments.

10/19/2005, 01:42pmYou started out fine, then i realized that you have alot fo what I have on my car too! I have a black one except I have an 02. I did the cattman headers and pipes as well, I wanted to make a suggestion to you too...go with JET performance for the ECU programming. You will not regret it!! I got an additional 13WHP doing it and regret not a penny spent on it. Where did you have the air fuel guages put in to coorect the fuel air mix?? I like the idea in the flip down.... Isn't it great when you pull up next to a "soup can exhaust" maxima and tear his doors off??? No better feeling than that. I have mine up to about 330 to the wheels and cant really do any more to it. If there is one thing thats hard to do to this car its put more perfomance in it!!! I got alot of stuff overseas that they dont make here. Well nice ride, and drop me an email with where you got the stuff for the air fuel mix!! ALombardi1040@aol.com thanks and good luck...

Ok, besides me not having a ECU upgrade and removing my CAT and replacing it with straight pipes, what else could you possible do to a I35 that can achieve 330hp. OMG, I find this funny.

One thing that does pose a question is...will the JET ECU give you more gains than the TS ECU??? And what about these overseas parts

Yes I have AND I have most of the bolt-ons and I am acheiving what modded auto maximas have with I/H/E/P (that's why I find his story BS). I dynoed at Tempest Racing in Waldorf, MD (JayPee99 as witness) and I was putting down 234whp and 233wtq 3rd gear pulls. My car is leaking air somewhere in my exhaust and my 02 sensors are hooked-up bad and the weather with their garage door open was like mid 90's. When we finished the dyno, JUST SO HAPPEN THEIR machine messed up so, I could not get a actual dyno print out. I have been waiting for about month now for my email with the dyno graph.

So basically even if we assumed you had another 20 hp he's saying he's getting nearly 80 more horses. Maybe he doesn't understand what hp to the wheels means, lol.

Notice he does not have an I35 cardomain page or has come to OUR site (MAXIMA.ORG). I clearly have links on my page to the .org

I WOULD love to see his 330hp I35.

Sweet...Since you do not have your graph.. do you have a good memory?

Do you remember where you started(RPM), where your pk hp was, what was your hp @ redline, what rpm did you break 200fwhp?

NmexMax - All I know that there was a big *** dyno machine and my car was up in the air on a lift dyno. JayPee99 knows more about what went on since I am a novice at dynoing. They basically left my gate shifter in D3 and slowly gave the car some throttle until the tranny shifted into 3rd and then the guy WOT in 3rd. What ever he did by looking at the dyno graph and using my SAFC he was able to take my car from 221whp-224tq to 234whp - 233tq. He said I was running rich and had to lean out my A/F.

I am going to get my car dynoed again in the next couple of weeks. I will make sure when I call to set up the appointment, they be able to print out my dyno graph this time since they owe me.

Ahh so those numbers are tuned #'s?

Yes, you need to get the results printed out as well as the actual run files.

I'm guessing this was on a dynojet 248c?
