Any way to make the max more comfy for taller owners

Hi there,

I love my max, but wish that it could be a little more comfy. I'm 6'4 and even with the seat all the way back, my legs sometimes feel a little cramped being constantly bent. My 89 Accord has so much leg room that I can actually have my legs straightened out when driving.

Is there any way for me to have the seat move further back? The max is amazing, but if I could straighten out my legs in there, it would be even better.

Thanks for all your help!!!

im sure if you speak to some sort of shop they can extend the travel of the seat. if they can do it for shaq they can do it for you.

Heh, I hear you. I'm 6'5 so I know where you're coming from. I've gotten used to it though since I've never actually had a car that can accommodate my height.

Short of removing the seat tracks and repositioning them a bit farther back, I am not sure anything can be done. Not even sure there would be the proper mouting surfaces to try even this.

The seats are mounted to the frame of the car by a bolt (4 i think). You could probably re drill the holes farther back, fill the old holes. And wallaaaa. If you have the electric seats, you might have to make the wires for the motor underneath your seat longer. I am going to dynamat my car in about a month, I will no exactly then if you don't mind waiting. I can post pic's for you

the solution is simple, take the drivers seat off, and drive without it, like Bubba did lmao dont take it personally

someone posted (maybe a year ago?) about a "mod" that moved the gas pedal and gave the driver another inch or two... search for that and see what you find.

if I remember, he didn't actually post the mod, just that he "found a way" so you'll probably have to email him for the exact procedure

Do like hightower from police academy and break off the front seats, sit in the back.... Or trade it in for a tahoe!

If you guys think the 5th Gen Max is bad with leg room, don't even bother with the new Pathfinder!
