Does the JWT ecu cut off injectors or fuel pump for the rev limiter?

 

It will be a normal injector off fuel cut. And if want you can specify exactly how you want the rev limiter to work. You can make the on/off more narrow like some '95 Nissans or wide like most of them.

 

sr20den, what do you mean by making the on/off more narrow? Guessing, I think you mean that the fuel cut can be tapered or all at once?

 

They make extended fuel and ignition maps to extend the redline.

 

Same with TS, ie add more columns/rows to the stock map.

However, I've noticed a few TS fuel maps tend to still jump lean after the stock redline to new redline range.

 

Is it that much harder to find and unlock the coding in order to do this? I mean $500 harder?

 

What do you mean "unlock the coding"?

There isn't a magic address somewhere containing a hex representation of 6400 that can just be changed to 7XXXrpm. They need to fill in points, so the ECU can interpolate the additional timing/fuel data between those points.
