2.87 or Nitrous?

i am looking down the road to see where i really want to take my max. I would like to hit high 12's with street tires and an interior. What i want to know is which will benifit me more? Dropping to the 2.87 or running a 35 shot of N2o. Also if i run some Nitrous to i need to retard timing, and should i go with the dry or wet. I know some peole call N2o "Fake" hp. but i believe that if a car is fairly fast witout it is "ok" to run some N2o for the extra punch. Any thoughts and opinions would be apreciated.

I would go 14psi and a 35 wet shot. That will give you the low end power you need for the first 330' adn then the 14psi will give the topend to get you into 14s.

Both~!

I'd max the recommended impeller speed of the SC and then if that's still not enough, N20 it later.

Anybody who claims N20 is not real needs a slap back to reality. That's just what big displacement engine small minded people tell themselves to sleep better at night once they get KILLED by someone like Jime or Mardi.

What injectors are you running? Stock?

Right now I am runnin 10psi and stock injectors, but plan to go with 440's or more likely the 550's.If i had an e-manage or safc is all right to run the stock injectors for a wile till i get the bigger ones? Also with good driving shouldn't the 2.87 put me into the deep 13's?

Well that pully will put you in teh high 12s without juice if you can drive hte car right. However thats only for 5spd cars, I dont think the autos have enough low end power to get you out of hte hole fast enough.

What kind of fuel pressure are you seeing?

Also, do you monitor EGT or have a WB02?

Get the eManage ASAP and drop some PE510 injectors in. In a month or so, I hope I'll have another option on drop-in injectors.

You can get used RC440s for $300, however they require splicing on new pigtails and using spacers under the fuel rail.

how much are you thinking your drop in injectors will be? And how big of a deal is splicing the new pig tails and using spacers, like is it hard to do or is it expensive at all?

I'm guessing $750.

Splicing and spacers for the RC's isn't a big deal. Used RC440s are dirt cheap from 350Z guys, ie $300 or $370 recently.

Yes, with 440cc or larger, stock fuel pressure will support 300+whp at a safe/recommended 80% duty cycle.
