Advantages of DP with a 75-shot.

Comtemplating a nitrous kit (who isn't ) and I'm debating the direct port kit vs. a regular wet kit. If I'm only going to use a 75-shot, what are the advantages of direct port, besides being safer for the engine. Do the advantages justify a $300 increase in the cost of the kit and a significant increase in cost of installation?

I have installed and helped to tune both and thats why I still have the wet kit. Tuning is much more difficult and installation likewise, especially if you use the SS hardline. Also had to buy an FPR for the DP, with a 75 wet you can run stock everything for the fuel.

Don't really believe you are any safer either, especially with only a 75 shot. For 100 and up yes but you want to make sure everthing is perfectly tuned in either case.

Good Luck

are you running an AF or EGT gauge? If so what are the readings under spray?
