If it wont physically mount to the block, check your clutch alignment.

And the reason I asked about the mount in my previous post is because I had to make spacers one time for the tranny mount for a friend. The mount was from advance auto and the part with the 4 bolts that hold the tranny was alot slimmer than stock. So the bolts would bottom out while there was like a 1 1/2" gap between the tranny and mount.
See this is where it gets weird, which is why i can see why the seller wouldnt know. The transmission bolts up to the motor without issue. When i dropped it in the car i just use the side mounts to hold everything in bolt everything up then put on the cross-member when im wrapping up. because its typically in the way when you are under the car.

when i dropped in the motor and bolted up my stock mount thats when i found out the transmission side was too high.

But, like you said, elementary equations do not exist when talking about fluid dynamics. Based on what you have said, I have definitely changed my goals in what I'm trying to accomplish. Instead of trying to induce some sort of vortex through the intake tube, I think just creating a more efficient inlet for the throttle body could improve and stabilize intake air and sort of direct it into the top/bottom sides of the elbow to the intake runners. Long story short, and I hope I understood what you're saying correctly, I would greatly appreciate some resources to guide me into the right direction of the concepts that I am looking for. It's extremely difficult to find out information when you don't even know what to search for! Thanks in advance nelledge

I think you've got a good grasp of things! Just because we're not all MIT grads doesn't mean we can't discuss these things!
