Belt Size..Im stumped !! 2.87
Alright I had a 3.125 pulley with a 4060690 6PK1755 69 "--69 3/4" Gatorback belt and it was really tight gettin on so I figured I would be ok with this belt with the 2.87
I put on my 2.87 pulley with the 4060690 and the tensioner is bottoming out kinda before its tight. Its tight but I think it could go a bit more.
Should I go to a 4060685 which is 68 1/2" to 69 1/4" ??
What belts are you guys running with 2.87 and V1 plate ??

I figured it out. Its definetly tight on there. Could use the lower belt.
Did you shave your middle post or totally cut it off ??
I shaved it down a bit, installed it and it was rubbing the center post. I pulled it all back off, shaved it down a bit more, while frying my dremel, and re-installed it, and I think its ok now. It may be touching still

The majority of the center post is cut off of my bracket, I would say I left less then or right at a 1/4 inch of it. The belt size is going to be the 685, thats what I have and it is the right belt for the application ( 2.87) using the dayco .76mm idler pulley w/flanges on the v1 bracket. Just dont tighten the belt too tight! With this pulley size you will see between 5 and 6 psi (v1 or v2) at 4k rpm which is about a 1k rpm difference from the 3.125. This summer heat is killing me, I havent had the chance to really enjoy my new set up yet. GETR DUNN
