Not that you need to it just makes things easier. My turbo sets right where my battery was.

all the intercooler piping is finally finished. all the piping is 2.5" and right after the maf is 3" going to the throttle body. greddy type rs blow off valve and 300zx maf

(please note these are just quick pictures I took, I know the t bolt clamps aren't on and the blow off valve flange isn't welded on yet.

I thought the Z32 maf didn't work with 5th gens? Also, it doesn't look like the maf adapter is metal, you should def get one.

Definitely. Plastic is no good for a boosted application (hell, I use metal on my NA car). I've heard too many horror stories.

The are a different grade of plastic, you can't honestly think a plastic maf adapter is gonna be higher quality plastic than OEM.

Like I said, the maf likely won't work

5th gens+ are much better off using a bigger maf housing.

It doesn't work from what I have read and seen, even with the EU...

http://forums.maxima.org/showthread....ht=z32+gen+5th
Is the closest I found? Search is weird, it shows the same threads multiple times haha

If I find the thread that has it test I will post it

On their cars they can simply go to a bigger maf housing using the same sensor. Land Rover maf housing seems to be the ticket, or somehow find a custom piece of metal tubing a little bit over 3 inches in diameter, not anything near 3.5 cause I heard there would be air reading problems.

Turbo looks exactly like the one I received in the mail today for my 240sx...nice.

After looking at your pictures, I've been reminded of all of my engine bay room...I respect you guys for cramming so damn much in there!
