I know of a crapload of Z's and G's with turbo,twinturbo, supercharged,Nos,etc...that will get spanked by this Maxima. The funny part is that four people can pile out of the grocery getter and really surprise the people in those cars Brakes and handling can be upgraded just like in any car.

 

 

Man that is a FAT tq curve. I imagine with some better tuning, the dip could go away.

Extended rev limiter?

No, I was commenting on the fact that the dyno goes further than our stock redline, so I was asking if the car dynod had an extended rev limiter.

 

No I didn`t raise the rev limiter. It redlines 6700 rpm.

 

I see 6800 drop off, and that's not the stock limit as far as it's been around.

 

why not throw a kinetix(sp?) manifold on there?

 

The dip is caused by the intake manifold.Tuning will not make it go away.Only a new intake manifold will.

The car was run by gear ratio because getting an accurate tach signal can be a pain in the *** so the rpms can be off slightly.

 

Because its a $700 block of "bling bling look at me" caca that at top-end does no better than a gutted stock IM that can be done for free

I told you a while back exhaust leak, or a small Diameter DP could cause restriction!! we'll glad that turned out to be the problem and you didnt pull the cams out and spend all that money just to make the same power or less.

I don't know why a 3" exhaust wasn't used from the start maybe gutting the Manifold will help smoothen the curve out some, it definitely will shift it but still smooth it out.

I know, just want it back. I talked to the transport people today and Darren said he would call me as soon as he knows when it is going to be picked up. I also told him about the issue with the front bumper, about putting it somewhere else and he said no problem. Just as long as the trailor has a truck, yukon, or van of some sort it will be no problem.

The kit or the mani? I think the kit has posted prices but the mani is still being developed so i dont think he has a price yet.
