^^^ are you looking for a bolted catback or it doesnt matter... theres a shop in the prince frederick area called insane exhaust who did my 2.5"... if there was a good axleback or tip on ebay i would have em do my 3" also... we have deals on dyno down here in the PG area, get 10 or more ppl and its 55$ 3 pulls and tune... seeing that you are interested and obviously the OP, that makes 3 cause im in... its not hard finding 7 more ppl around the area... the car network down here is massive

Sweet man! I just did a race at Summit Point on their main track (2 miles) where I hit 110+ mph. 20 minutes on the track with an instructor for only $50! They have those events every month from Feb.-Nov.

The auto-x club I've been running with is the BMW CCA and they also have about one event a month. You get 4 runs on the course plus fun runs afterward if we have time. That's only $25/day if you're a member

i got a couple of questions:
1. you been through a couple of motors right
2. the dek u have in now dont it have a ported intake mani?
3. you had aftermarkt cams in your 3.5, so u did not use them in your dek?
4. ok so if u did not use the aftermarket cams in the dek, iam under the impression you have 3.5 cams w/ adv cam adapters correct?
5. i remember u had a jwt ecu w/ a 7.5 rev limit, did u send it back to get re-flashed for 7.2?
6. so you didnt do a 3.5 block with dek heads?

i ask these q's because ive seen your car run up and down the track at maxus and fastest you ran was a 14.1-14.3, iam just trying to figure out how u shaved so much time while still on street tires

He had the 3.5 knock off cams a LONG time ago and did not keep them long. When you seen his car at Maxus it was not with aftermarket cams. Those things are long gone and sold cheap. Ill let him chime in

it was also about 100* at maxus too... but again, ill let him chime in too

Temperature did play a big part in the time differences. Not to mention his car is moody(lol). Right after he ran the 13.6 at the track the next week the car started running funny, and now sits in the driveway broken again!. His times shouldnt be to hard to believe though, my car trapped 102 w/ a VQ30de and MEVI. I just cant get the car to hook off the line!

He had a 00VI on the car when he ran the 13.9. The USIM is the worst IM for our cars.

wow, too funny.. you lady think i have a 3.5 block. LMAO @ THAT. i have chimmed in because ive been busy with work, fixing my car and other personal issues.
when i did the 13.9@98. it was a VQ30DE with warpspeed y,00vi VAFC2 non tuned JWT ECU w/ 7200 rev and a 2.5" catback.. anyone else could do better with a good motor.. that de was beat.

i2vicious had my cam adapters in his 3.5

I wasnt in NY because i was finishing up my turbo kit "break in" i guess you can call it, plus its snowing down here heavy today. i dyno 374hp @ 360tq on 9lbs with stock 290cc injectors, at about 4.2k they maxedout around a 13.0afr, at redline it kissed a 15.0afr...yuuk but my peak power was around 5700,redline was about 3hp less then peak.

There will always be haters and doubters. Not saying anyone in particular is in the thread, but there are doubters everywhere. There are a few people on here that have a hard time swallowing the numbers that my car has put down and run in stock form..don't let it bother you, no one knows your car like you do.

For sure.. there's quite a few on this forum. When I went to the track last year on that -1700 DA day and ran the low 13s N/A and mid 12s on nitrous (untuned), the first 2-3 pages of my thread about it was BS calling.
