Tell us what really happened. You didn't just spend all that time and money making a RWD Maxima and then decide to part it out because of emission laws. Video didn't sound too good man, you can tell us what really happened, we're all friends here. After all that work, you could have just went back to a NA VG with stock exhaust if you had to. If the RWD conversion was a success, why would anyone give that up because their current turbo setup didn't comply with California emissions standards?

damn. It really is a shame to see the maxima go, and to see a fellow socal 2nd genner go with it . Sorry to sound like a vulture, but I wish I would have seen those parts posted earlier. I would have snatched the LED stuff.

I am guessing the fines and hoops you were going to have to jump through were a humongous hassle(if you were even going to be able to get it street legal at all in this super strict idiotic state).

Bummer man. Doing a massive change like what you did in a state notorious for being adverse to car modification was probably a recipe for trouble. However you proven it can be done and I applaud you for taking it on and sticking with it to the end.

Sounds like you've never had to deal with the CA DMV and Emissions.

What he said makes perfect sense.

Man someone should've bought this off of him. Since it couldn't be registered in Cali it probably would've worked and stayed alive in another state.
