got this gray ugly looking VOB Nissan, Bmw, ect emblem about 4' long 1 1/2" high...wanna take it off but since it's been there about ten years afraid I am gonna take some paint off with it and the touch up paint looks VERY ugly after I put it on the car...any suggestions to take this off/best to leave on?

you should have just refused to buy the car unless they took it off. thats what we have done with our cars. they dont want to lose your business and they'll take it off so fast it's unbelievable. i hate dealer tags, they're so ugly. just slowly try to pull it off, if you see some paint coming off, then just stop. but i highly doubt it will take the paint off.

Try this
Assuming it's just glued on, take some dental floss and slip it in between the body and the dealer emblem. Then start flossing or "sawing" away. It may take a while, but you will be able to safely saw away the emblem.

Is it the sticker or the actually plastic piece?
If it's the plastic piece get a pitcher full of boiling hot water and poor it on the back so it kind of seeps into the glue and take a blow dryer and set it as hot as you can and heat that thing up for about 20 minutes, and the glue will start to soften up and start to pull off.
I know from experience
haha
Why is it most Nissan dealers are ******?

emblem
its a plastic gray thing not a sticker...has anyone tried the dental floss method? I want to hear a success story or two first because white where paint was peeled off is even worse then an ugly gray emblem... I had this happen when I took off these ugly deer things dad hazd on the front to make noise and get them away...there was ugly bulges where i put on touch upo paint, but after the accident I got bumper replaced so now its nice again.
