(PAGING internet auto martor whoever can help)oil leaking on bushing

oil is leaking on my bushing after i changed my motor. i though it was coming from the oil filter but its not. can u tell me what kinda seal i need and also do u sell it. thanx in advance

What bushing??Where?? Can you be more specific.

sorry bout that. the lower control arm bushing by the passenger side tire

There are 2 places you need to check for the leak..

1. Check your power steering pressure hose for a leak in the hose..It is on the passenger side behind the stut tower,it runs down behind the engine to the pump..

2. Check around the bottom engine pulley for oil leaking around it....

its not the power steering pressure hose. is it a seal or sumthin for the engine pully?

it's probably the front crank seal.
Very common to go bad and it took out 2 bushings on my old max

....and as long as you have to pull the crank pully... excellant time for a UDP install!!! You should be happy you now have an excuse for an upgrade!!! There are a few excellant writeups on UDP installs, sure made mine a breeze.

that's when I did my old one.
I got the UDP and replaced the seal

the seal yes, the UDP no
ASP sells it fairly cheaply

i have the same leak over the one bushing on the lower control arm. ever since i did the udp it has leaked and havnt the motivation to fix it . do an udp its worth it especially since your there.
