I am going to the junkyard today, I know where a 93 gxe is and it is wrecked like it was going real fast when it hit something. But it has the different style injector plugs and I bet the the injectors are pretty new because it had a new distributor and new fuel filter and looks like the manifolds have been took off before. other than ohms is there any thing else I need to check before I bring them home? Do i need to buy new o rings if they are in good condition?

Have you cleaned the corrosion off your current injectors terminals and re-ohmed them yet? if not do so before spending any $$ on replacement injectors.

Going to tear it back down today and see if I can't get it right. so I just take my multimeter and some extra wire and disconnect the ecu and hit the pins to harness to check for continuity? this will take a second by myself. How do I check the conectors to see if they are getting a signal? Could I have bad connectors?

Rear Brake upgrade

I was considering upgrading my rear brakes to the 86 Z31 rear rotor setup, looking @ Courtesy Nissan's page i think i found the caliper adapter plate for 89-90 Maxima. There are two part numbers, are the adapter plates different from left to right, 44165-J30001 & 44155-J30001. Also reviewing the specs for Z31 rotors 290mm X 9mm, i was wondering if we can use the 04 Maxima rear rotors which are 291mm X 9mm?

check the rotor offset first?

there are 2 ways to get the key code
1. a sticker in the glovebox if it's still there
2. pull a lock cylinder and have a locksmith make a key based off of that.

also think about the thickness of the 04 maxima rotors. my z31 rotors are 11mm thick. if the 2004 rotor is vented it might be too thick to use without using another sort of calipers.

Check the alty belt, if present and tight, just replace the alternator, 99% chance it is fried.

Another question from a newbie:

When i'm driving, my sonar suspension stays on "Comfort" Everytime i go over a bump, i see different letters moving around. For example, N, F, etc.

Another Q, what is an A/T button? What does it do? I tried search but to no avail.

That is your "automatic transmission" (A/T) button that switches from "comfort" mode to "power" mode. It essentially shifts the car from a conservative drive to a sporty mode. It only really comes into play when you step on the gas...
