Edit January 6 2021 Attention all 3rd gen VG30E and VE30DE this is the last call for the group deal. Currently have 13 paid orders and 2 pending. 15 total. Goal is 20. I need 5 more to buyers to get in on getting their custom made ASP UDP Pulley on their choice of color and if needed a complete kit option is available. Pulley is 145 shipped USA for both engines, International Orders pay difference in costs. 178.84 for the VG30E complete set 3 belts w/ crank oil seal. VE30DE 191.88 for the complete set 3 belts w/ crank oil seal. After this group deal is done it maybe the last time anyone would organize one since its harder to group owners to buy in (and start over with another 20). Let's finish this up and prove that we are still worthy of modding our classic 3rd gens. Text 347-436-3751 or pm me
Payments via Zelle Banking, Facebook Send/Receive using paypal no fee.
I would like to thank those who are waiting patiently and paid for their order to helping this get closer to completion.
Izzy

Contacted ASP and they couldn't do the (3) VG30E order since its not feasible and the cost would increase per those pulley because of different programming. The VE30DE on the other hand will be going forward as planned (13 pieces) payment being submitted today. I feel really terrible that 3 people wouldn't get the udp for their maximas but the demand is so little.

Thank you for those who purchased this and making the deal happen.

That's weird the engineering program is already there in house at ASP Racing they've done 12 VG ASP pulleys before both OEM and UDP! I'm confused your statement is as if they need to start trying to CAD program their machines from scratch to built both VE and VG pulleys when it's was stated in a previous Post from you! Crazy4maxima the engineering is there already for the VG....

Update January 25th ASP has requested 1/2 payment for the pulley and ive submitted what they requested. Looks like our VE30DE pulleys are soon to be produced. Now its a wait and see how long. Estimated was 5 to 6 weeks after first payment. Thank you again all for your continued support and patience!

Order is almost ready! There are two extra made. Anyone wanting one their in luck and this will be the last chance. I've decided one red and one blue. This is for the VE30DE 92-94 maxima only.

Uodate

ASP Pulley have arrived! I'm waiting for the rockauto parts to come in and the shipment will be sent out accordingly. Those that just wanted the Pulley only will be shipping soon. Once again I am so happy and proud to be able to bring this mod to our beloved 3rs gens. I'm thankful for all the support and patience that you'll gave me these past months. Also I do have 2 extra Pulley that was made in case anyone wanted to get the last of the batch. This is only for the VE30DE 92-94 Maxima.

so having the programming is easy. just load it in the machine and you're good.
with CNC every job needs to have a set up and that takes time to set up the machine with the right cutting inset and etc. honestly that's all the labor in the CNC. once it's set up all you press is the green button and it shoots out the products. more product you make for each program will make per unit cost less (spreads out the labor cost over many more pieces)..

[QUOTE=crazy4maxima;9231781]Our VG30E SOHC is 20% underdrive . I do not have any weights for stock vrs underdrive. As for charging issues we never stocked this part so no idea what the side effects are. Making them stock size would require the 20 pc min as it is not the same part or programs. 250.00 each for that.
The VE30DE DOHC stock weight is 8.5lbs. Our underdrive is 2.75 lbs. Stock would be 250.00. We never saw any charging or cooling problems with the underdrive.

Just going from a steel to an alum stock sized part is going to make the car RPM faster , not free up any HP as we are not slowing any accessories down.
VG30E ASP RACING UDP:
I'm not sure what the actual numeric gain is but the stock Crank pulley I just measered is 6 lbs and the ASP pulley is 1 lbs. So your crank is spinning with 5 lbs less so your should gain so throttle response and some whp since freeing up the crank rotational weight. My UR UDP frees up weight and slows the accessories down and is suppose to increase hp by 8. I would shoot for 4-5 hp with the weight reduction alone. Oh yeah the finish is black.
