I have to find out what the minimum order is. this place is about an hour from my house so i need to make the order big enough to make it worth my while. And the place who makes them for me too.

Hey guys, everything is packaged up. I will be shipping by Canada post after work tonight. Normally I would ship FedEx but i do not have time to fill out the mountain of paperwork the FedEx requires for over 20 packages. Most of you should see your packages next week. If you live on the west coast please give it a few extra days.

On another note. I am starting a list for the next batch.

I have emailed you all tracking numbers, You should use Canada post to track to the border, then USPS tracking is supposed to work... "Supposed"

hey guys, don;t forget, most of you will have to cut the nibs off the drivers side. Or you can use a 4" angle grinder.

I'm in the process of installing my driver side mount and it appears to be too wide to fit in the bracket on the frame. The little lips on either side are just too thick to fit in. Has anyone else had this problem?

EDIT- Just saw the post a few up from mine. Apparently those lips need to be trimmed off. Is there a reason they were designed like this?

Do we need to do this (from the 5th gen thread)?

Yes they were designed for 6 speeds. Use a Sharp exacto or olfa knife and remove the lips. It has been stated a few times that this needs to be done.

See post 124

so all that needs to be modified is the lips being cut to make it fit in 4th gen 5spd brackets?

That's right. Cut it in half if you want, but it might be hard to lineup. Chop it off for an easier install

I have a set of gutted mount brackets (5spd, timing cover). Great for someone at home installing these mounts, all the hard work has been done.

Bumping this up guys, as there is another group buy started. if you are interested, please go here and add your name to the list. Please note, these are already made, all I need is you guys to pay the cash and I can pick them up and ship. 2 guys have paid so far, as soon as we hit ten i will pick them up and start shipping. You could have them by the end of the month if we get all ten payments by around the 20th or so

here is the link to the original thread on the process of designing etc...
https://maxima.org/forums/5th-genera...-protoype.html

go here to sign up or pm me. Note I am asking for cash immediately this time as the pucks are ready to ship

just sending out a generic message to everyone who has either paid in full or left a deposit for the Poly inserts. My plan is to have you all paid up in full by june 20th. I will pick up the inserts one week later after the money is moved from paypal to my business account. During the last week of June i will start shipping out the orders. around the 28th
