If the PCV valve is as easy to get to as the haynes manual says it is, do it there.

I'm assuming from my haye's manual that what i circled in red is hte PVC valve. if it is, I'm supposed to unhook the hose at the blue circle and slowly pour the sea foam there right?

man looks like you need to use some on the outside of teh engine as well!

how about htis.....some one post a picture of the exact hose we are suppose to use. And the direction on how to use that exact hose. this would benefit all, cause reading through the 3 pages of this confusing i do not weither it is the big hose, the little hose, or nasty hoes? so confusing. then we can look and be like " oh that one". just an idea. i looked at the directins on the can the other day when i was buying some spark plugs, and they say vacume hose but not which on cause of course differnt ones for different cars.

some please just post a pic.

Pssst! If you really want to clean your intake manifold, take it off and buy a can or two of CRC Green Brakeen. When I first got my car running one of the first things I did was run 2 bottles of seafoam threw it Yes it does work, but it doesnt work that great for the intake manifold, it isnt that hot. It's really good at cleaning combustion chamber.

Also the best hose to use is one directly after the throttle body, esp. VE's as the manifold splits into 2, so if you use one of the hoses off the back you will probably only be cleaning cylinders 1-3-5.

its also great for if you cant pass emissions

The funny thing is I was driving my car around the neighborhood for the first time and all the smoke was coming out, then throw in a couple times stalling it when getting used to the clutch (trying not to slip it much lol). There were some people walking their dog and gave me a few wierd looks lol.
