I'm reserving judgement until it is actually in the hands of some ORG members and we have some independent dynos.

Until then, sthey are still $tillen or Steallin in my book.

Hell, show me another 7hp increase N/A and I'll drop $500 today. I've already spent more than that for much less

Only time will tell if this IS that mod.

I won't be sending you anything - you just said "show me and I'll drop $500".
Thanks!

Since this is a piggyback system, it can only modify the air/fuel and the timing. It would be nearly impossible for a piggyback system to raise the rev-limit. I would not spend money on this because the air/fuel and the timing on our cars can be adjusted on the fly via the consult port. All u need is a small microcontroller with as many different maps as u want and have it change ur settings on the fly. I wouldnt spend no 500 bucks on it.... But I would love to know how this thing really works.... Is it connected to the same wires that goto the consult port? Or is it connected to the outgoing signals from the ecu which control the injector pulse/timing etc? basically what I want to know is that is this thing telling the ECU to make the mixture richer/leaner and also advance/retard the timing? Or is it forcefully changing these paramters itself... U guys think we can get stillen to tell us which wires does this thing connect to without buying a piece? ...a wiring diagram would clear up many things..

..just some thoughts, any intelligent info would really be helpful..

There is a thread going on, Spaniard, that has some more info on the 98/99 ECU. It is not in reference to the VQ-Pro, but it is pretty interesting. You are pretty technical, maybe you could bring something to the table. I am an electrical idiot....literally.
Here is the link to that thread:

enjoy....

yeah, I have heard that is kind of what "they" do. They just keep telling everyone, "next month, this will be available."

That sucks.
I wish they could just come out with it already.
