My main reason for wanting a dek manifold has little to do with the upper reaches of the RPM band, the MEVI does just fine up there (though any little improvement helps) but it would be nice to gain back some of the loss of midrange from the MEVI, or perhaps not suffer any loss at all (or maybe even a gain, who knows til someone does a dyno comparison).
Neal stick with your MEVI. The VIAS on the 5th gen was poorly designed and breaks easily. I have had 2 broken VIAS intakes already. There is a thread about this in the 5th gen forum. Not worth the hassle IMO.

I wouldn't consider switching now. I would only consider it if I was staying NA. The gain of an extra 5hp and 10tq or whatever means nothing when I can just turn up the boost a pound and have another 15-20 of each, in the world of turbos 5hp and 10tq means nothing but in the world of bolt ons when there's not much left to do that's a good gain.
